The government is all set to launch six-months of celebrations to mark the
350th birth anniversary of Taj Mahal at Agra, 200 kilometers south of
Delhi.

On the full moon night of September 27, artists of all hues - Sufi,
instrumental, fusion and Hindustani classical - will perform on the banks
of the Yamuna river with the glittering Taj Mahal providing the backdrop,
reminiscent of composer Yanni's show in 1998.

Besides music and dance, there will be cultural shows and crafts fairs
showcasing ethnic Indian wares.
